A motor-driven rotary table (q1 axis) suitable for mounting workpieces or fixtures. Mounts directly on the base of the machine to enable efficient alignment of single or multiple workpieces preparatory to measurement. Especially useful with cylindrical workpieces for aligning the axis with the direction of measurement. Automatic alignment can be performed in combination with the Y-axis table (178-097).
